I am an official Debian Developer (where I mostly maintain the Wine and FlightGear packages). I'm an experienced software engineer - my current dayjob is in satellite communication and image processing. Before that, I worked with porting video games, and many other things. For example, I was a Wine developer for many years.
On Maemo I've been involved with SyncEvolution, as well as a worked on a few personal projects (CallerID, for automatic reverse directory lookups, and CyborgEye, an augmented-reality experiment).
