Product management

The team

• Operative PM tasks (such as maintaining DevEdition wikis): Jukka Eklund (IRC: jukkaeklund, Skype: jukkaeklund)
• MeeGo Handset UX PM & Nokia representative in Handset WG: Sami Pienimäki.

Communications

• PM has no regular meetings of its own, but takes part in all relevant other meetings.
• Jukka is hanging on #meego-arm channel whenever possible (nick jukkaeklund)
• Any ideas and feedback for the N900DE should be put to Ideas page.
• To propose existing bugs to be blockers for N900DE, anyone can propose via putting '?' into flag MeeGo_N900DE_Release_Blocker in bugzilla.

Task List

• Evaluate the Tablet UX -> in process, see ARM/N900/TabletUX
• Define the criteria for DE milestones. -> in process, Alpha milestone done.
• Clarify the relationship between N900 HW team and DE project, possibly integrate the wiki pages also (OK for Carsten and Harri) -> in process, proposal done in @meego-handset.
• Propose the initial configuration for DE (Settings structure, home grid etc.) -> in process.
• How to get a new or improved theme for DE, propose community contribution. -> We use Base theme with new icons, and community should work on that theme or create new ones. See ARM/N900/Artwork
• Define minimum set of audio policies for DE. -> in process.
• Clarify the Camera target in DE. -> in process, wiki update in 8.4.2011
