Purpose and Intent

The purpose of these meetings is to provide status updates on community topics and help get people involved in the MeeGo community. This is the regular meeting of the Community Office and anyone with an interest in the MeeGo community is welcome to attend.

A few notes:

• Anyone can attend these meetings or participate in the process!
• Anyone can add any proposed topic below.
• Learn more about the Community_Office.

Meeting Logistics

The Community Office meetings are held every other Tuesday at 14:00 UTC. Meetings will end promptly after 1 hour.

All CO meetings take place in the MeeGo IRC channels:

Other suggestions

• Move the CO meeting or the following meeting to #meego-meeting2 to allow for longer meetings as community matters don't seem to fit into the 60min quite often.
• OR increase meeting frequency to allow for higher throughput that way

Note: I really prefer to have more efficient meetings where we stay on topic and end on time. Even when there is no meeting scheduled after, I still promptly end the meeting after 1 hour. It lets everyone plan for the meeting time and avoids the problem of critical people having to drop to attend other meetings. I suspect that when the meetings run long it's because people are saving discussion topics for the meeting rather than discussing them on the mailing list. These meetings are mainly for status updates, which should be relatively short. --Dawnfoster 17:31, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
