Increasing participation with other open source l10n groups: We had some lively discussion on this, most of it centering around how to contribute MeeGo-specific translations (which may be shortened because of the platform) to upstream packages. We ultimately tentatively agreed that a (meego) developer would mark MeeGo-specific strings with a certain comment, so that upstream wouldn't be bothered and MeeGo strings would remain in the MeeGo realm. Perhaps a coordinator is necessary who would talk to upstream to get the relevant changed strings and send them to the upstream project.
