The goal of the MeeGo Localization Community is to bring the software closer to local communities (countries and languages). This usually involves providing translations via PO files but is certainly not limited to that, especially for documentation and websites.
Definition of Steering Group:
This group, consisting initially of 2 Intel reps, 2 Nokia reps, and 5-6 community reps, will report to the TSG. Its responsibilities include resolving issues that the community is unable to do; helping to define and communicate the MeeGo development road map; communicate all l10n issues to the greater community; maintain a wiki and perhaps a forum for real time exchange of information
Steering Group Meetings: Probably will meet once a month--TBD.
General Meetings:
Every 2 weeks on Fridays at 1600 UTC on #meego-meeting IRC.
To formulate a proper plan for MeeGo, we need key information that is not readily available at this moment.
