  • and this session takes about one hour:)

3) Open source community experience sharing (Harish)

  • a multi-user component for Unix released in year 1992, suddenly get an email about it from the open source community in 2005:)
  • open source community get quite small contribution from China (exclude those stuffs working in a open source company like Redhat)
  • problems for China developers to get involved in open source community: language, and they work over time already
  • training professors for using the open community tools like IRC, WiKi

4) Qt plan from Forum Nokia (Zheng Wei)

  • the plan is not mature enough to share, but it's comming
  • Qt is the right way, QML for application development is amazing
  • products will be availabe sometime this year

We unfortunately post-pone Gerard's session to next meeting for the sake of time being, although several guys got a look at his Pandaboard and beagleboard:)

And the greatest part is that you could talk freely with whoever, whenever there:)
