Following the meeting on March 24, 2010 the creation of the Localization working group has not been approved by the Technical Steering Group :

To discuss and plan the localization of MeeGo, subscribe to the MeeGo l10n mailing list: http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-il10n. You can also subscribe from your account page on meego.com.
The Localization working group defines the strategy for utilizing crowd-sourcing for translating MeeGo into multiple languages, and observes its implementation. Using Transifex as the tool, our goal is to build a community of dedicated translators, editors, reviewers, and testers in multiple languages.
