The current meego.com homepage design was made before the MeeGo project launch. Since then we have made some improvements ad-hoc but it is time to look at it and see how it could serve better meego.com

Contents

Problems to solve

  • Targeting audiences. We need to offer visible hooks to our main audiences: product developers, app developers, community contributors and media.
  • Fresh and best content, automatically. The homepage needs to reflect the current news and great stuff we have to offer without needing heavy manual updates.
  • Shortcuts to other subsites. meego.com is surrounded by many subsites with plenty of activity, and we could better highlighting them.
  • Consistency with device categories and releases. Core OS releases are barely visible while Connected TV and Media Phones are highlighted.
