MeeGo is a very interesting platform for universities: OS based on standard Linux enabling open and powerful mobile hardware. How can the MeeGo project help promoting MeeGo related activities and materials with a focus on universities?

Types of activities could include:

  • Production of free training materials: tutorials, videos, slideware...
  • MeeGo platform and devices used for training.
  • MeeGo platform and devices used in research.
  • Students' competitions.
  • Support for students projects published in commercial channels.
  • Local promotion and collaboration through Local MeeGo Networks.
  • Channel for device seeding through the (proposed) Community Device Program.
