The MeeGoVerse Real World MMORPG

Mix up working inside the MeeGo community with the things one finds in an MMORPG or other games. Earn achievements and gain points by fixing or otherwise working on bugs, taking part in real life events and more. Help us define and expand the concept here, this could be big ;)

List of Achievements

• Bug Slayer: Resolved 10 bugs
• Bug Battler: Resolved first bug
• Bug Doctor: Triaged 5 bugs
• Wizard: Used aegis correctly in a package
• Butterfly: Take part in five MeeGo related events in one year
• Lepidopterologist: Organise a MeeGo event
• Hoarder: Own five or more devices running MeeGo
• Mod Master: Own three or more devices with MeeGo running, which were not bought with MeeGo running on them
• First steps to Mod: Own a MeeGo device that originally ran something else
• Master of All Trades: Resolved bugs in all categories
• Explorer: Visiting MeeGo events in 3 different countries
• Master of scrolls: Created 5 wiki pages
• Typo fixer: Edited 10 wiki pages
• Thankful: Thanked 100 people on the forum
• Helper: Received 50 thanks on the forum
• specialist: Received 500 thanks on the forum
• statistician: Generated 3 business reports from MeeGo data sources.
• Devastature: Uses a MeeGo handheld device as a development machine (hence the stature)
• Welcome aboard: Register a meego.com account

Motivation for this

Automating this

The Maemo karma system could easily be adapted to produce the MeeGoVerse stats.
