Introdution

A MeeGo Community Calendar has been created using Google Calendar. A selected group of collaborators will publish events on this calendar and everyone will be able to subscribe to be notified about them. These events can be: IRC Meetings, TSG Meetings ecc...

We will add MeeGo related events in this calendar and everyone will be able to automatically be updated with latest events shown in their local time. Google also offer the possibility (for free) to get a reminder email or an SMS before an event, so you won't risk to miss it.

There is no need to have a Google account to be able to subscribe a calendar, since an ical url is provided (you can use it with Evolution or Thunderbird for example). You only need a Google account if you want to collaborate with us and be able to add/modify events.

How to use MeeGo Community Calendar

Google Calendar provides four ways of subscription.

  • XML: XML url
  • ICAL: ICAL Url
  • HTML: HTML url
  • You can search for "MeeGo Community Events" in public Google Calendars.

How to collaborate

If you want to colaborate with us, just send me an email (a DOT grandi AT gmail DOT com) introducing yourself and explaining how you would like to contribute. If needed we will add you to the list of people allowed to add/modify events.
