MeeGo requires SSSE3 support that is found in Intel Atom, Intel Pentium Dual-Core (except Yonah processors, also not to be confused with Intel Pentium D), Intel Core 2 or newer Intel processors. MeeGo therefore will not work on Intel Core (1) or older Intel processors or current AMD processors.
MeeGo also supports ARM7el processors.
MeeGo currently supports Intel chipsets apart from Intel GMA500. MeeGo does NOT support ATi/AMD or Nvidia graphics cards.
Currently the only supported handsets are the Nokia N900 and Aava developer phone.
MeeGo does not ship with the closes source drivers so you will have to install the Broadcom drivers yourself. A guide written by Slaine can be read here, you will require a wired connection for this guide.
There are two MeeGo images, one comes with Google Chrome that requires you to agree to a EULA. The other image comes with Chromium. Both images also come with Mozilla Firefox.

The MeeGo image is to large to fit on the N900's internal 256MB memory.
