Introduction
This work now continues in the Nemo Mobile project, http://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Nemo and all material here is historic.
When using MeeGo on the Nokia N900/N950/N9, or other ARM-based handset, it's recommended to use MeeGo Community Edition. Community Edition is an edition of the core MeeGo OS. The Community Edition is developed with the ARM and handset compatibility in mind, this way developers already owning a N900/N950/N9 device may start developing with it immediately.

Status
The working status of MeeGo for N900 implementation can be seen on Status page. This MeeGo Community Edition is also be the place where similar effort on ARM using Nokia N9 (and N950) is take place - see N950/N9 page.
Install
To install MeeGo Community Edition for N900, refer to our Getting Started page. For N950 (and N9) instructions, refer to N950 page.

When downloading images, you can choose from several images from our repository, or even build one yourself.
