Officially Supported and Tested Hardware

In general MeeGo v1.0 for Netbook will run on Atom® based Netbooks and has been tested on the following platforms,

• Asus EeePC 901, 1000H, 1005HA, 1008HA, EeePC 1005PE, Eeetop ET1602, EeePC S101
• Dell mini10v, Inspiron Mini 1012
• Acer Aspire One D250, AO532-21S, Revo GN40, Aspire 5740-6025
• Lenovo S10
• MSI U130, AE1900
• HP mini 210-1044
• Toshiba NB302

Note: please do not add to the list above unless you are in an official QA role in MeeGo.

Asus EeePC 1015PEM

Requirements:
CPU: Intel Atom or Intel Core 2 CPU (support for SSSE3)
Note: MeeGo will not work on non-SSSE3 CPUs
Platforms with the GMA-500, Nvidia, or ATI Graphics chipset are not supported.

Non-free Codecs (MP3,MPEG4, H264)

These are not installed by default. Until someone packages these codecs as RPM's, you must compile them from source. Compile estimated time on netbook hardware is 1-1.5 hrs.
