  • Some regression issues were found in this week.
    • 16814 - [REG]Dialer fail to launch from UI, but it could be launched from commandline.

  • Latest Meego.com weekly results: Wk17 testing was totally blocked because 16660- [Trunk: Testing] Device fails to boot up. (FIXED)
  • Feature Verified status 84/302.
  • Latest DE N900 test results:
    • 29.04 build tested with RR82%, PR54%
    • Blocking issues:
      • 10579- CLIR enable/disable option is missing in settings (NEW)
      • 11721- VKB is not fully displayed in landscape mode (FIXED)
      • 16664- No response when tapping "send a new message" button in sms application. (NEW)
      • 16857- [DE] Email application is missing (NEW)
      • 16856- [DE] Chat application is missing. (NEW)
      • 14135- [testing:daily]meegophotos crash (FIXED)

Tablet Update

  • Weekly
    • Pass rate for tablet 0419 image is 86%.
    • Key Issues:
      • Bug 15922 - Browser crashes when click on "open-in-new-window link" if opened tabs reach the tabs_limit
      • Bug 15543 - Browser will show blank screen while surfing/operating pages
      • Bug 15454 - Unable to connect to WIFI hidden network
      • Bug 15506 - Time format 12hr and 24hr mode opposite
      • Bug 15999 - No button for audio connect after Bluetooth headset paired
      • Bug 16000 - Sometime unable to input anything via VKB or external keyboard
      • Bug 16001 - meego-ux-daemon crashes when turn off some panels from manage panels setting
      • Bug 16508 - [REG] Music is unable to add into playlist
      • Bug 15530 - Notifications fail to display on lock screen
      • Bug 15208 - Pinch zoom does not work

Netbook Update

  • MeeGo 1.0 SW Update: No update yet
  • MeeGo 1.1 SW Update: QA completed one round of sanity testing for 1.1 update release 5 covered UX and Core, pass ratio is 96%. The quality of UX in this image has a little downgrade because of error initializing garage client services library(16936), In latest repo, 2 new regression issues that style of font renders incorrectly and error initializing garage client services library were found by QA.
  • MeeGo 1.2 Netbook (for 0426 Image):
    • MeeGo Netbook QA has started Netbook 1.2 weekly system functional testing and summarize quality metrics until 1.2 released.
    • Netbook 1.2 System Functional Testing pass rate is 86.59%, compared to 87% for WW17 image, 89% for 1.1 release and 92% for 1.1 Update 4 release;
    • QA completed one round of Chinese L10N testing on 0426 image; Most applications like web browser, media player settings, etc work well in Chinese environment, but some translation bugs still impact user;

ARM -target:

  • Test results for SDK : http://qa-reports.meego.com/1.2/SDK
  • Latest results from week 17 using sysroot [1.1.99.0.20110329.5] on armv7l target to test updated tools in SDK.
    • 12335 - Failed to build simple MeeGo Touch Framework Application
    • 12853 - libattica is not installed with QtCreator
    • 13171 - Qt-creator OBS plugin gives network error
    • 14910 - Application launch on device is success but screen is distorded
    • QEMU launc works now in Ubuntu10.10 but still fails in Fedora13.
  • Last four weeks we didn't have meego-core-armv7l-madde-sysroot -images.
