Netbook Update
2011.05.24
- MeeGo 1.0 SW Update: No update yet.
- MeeGo 1.1 SW Update: QA Complete one round of sanity testing for 1.1 SW Update, and verified 15 bugs and reported 2 regression bugs.
- MeeGo 1.2 Netbook:
- MeeGo 1.2 is released in 19th May, 2011;
- To align with 1.2 release, QA started weekly system functional testing for Netbook until 1.2 released and completed 3 rounds of system functional testing, for 0503 image, pass rate is 86.78%, compared to 89% for 1.1 release and 92% for 1.1 Update 4 release; QA also completed one round of Chinese L10N testing on 0426 image and report 9 translation bugs.

IVI Update

- For IVI, update for 1.2.0 will branch from 1.2.1, with limited bug fixing, but not all changes in 1.2.1.
- QA will focus on 1.2.0 update till end of Jun, and defer QA effort on 1.3 images before 1.2.0.1 update
- For 1.2.0 Update, QA's test strategy:
- When there is bug fixed today, do sanity test on all 3 target platforms(by day)
- When there is bug fixed this week, do full functional tests against changes on CrossvilleOKI(by week)
- All Update Blockers have been cloned to version 1.2.0.
- with #18918([IVI] EMGD-bin: meego-ux-daemon crashes QT at various times (lock screen, task switcher, when idle)) fixed, there are 3 regression brought in:
