OTS Glossary

Device Name

The unique name of the device attached to the Worker used as a Routing Key

Distributor

The component of the Core that distributes Tasks.

Package

The Test Definition File and other files associated with a Testrun

Results File

The results of the Test are contained in the Results File

Results Object

The metadata and Results File and Test Definition File

Routing Key

The means by which a Task is dispatched to a Worker.

Task

The job run by the Worker. Currently a process.

Test Definition File

The Test Definition File is the XML File containing the Test Plan

Worker

Either The computer hosting the test running

Or The OTS Worker component
