Download the MeeGo SDK

  1. Download and install the SDK

    SDK content details are described on the SDK Component Summary page.

  2. Double-click the .exe file. After retrieving the installation sources, click the 'Next' button.

  3. Browse the destination folder to install MeeGo SDK.

  4. Select the components that will be installed. Mainly select the target for development.

  5. Read and accept the license agreement and then click the 'Next' button.

  6. Click the 'Next' button.

  7. Click the 'Install' button when ready.

  8. During the installation, the components will be downloaded from Internet firstly and then installed on local machine. In course of downloading, once one of components failed to download due to the connection issue, just click 'Retry' button in the notification dialog to resume. After installation finished, click the 'Next' button.

  9. Click 'Finish' to exit.

  10. Install Microsoft Redistribution Package (4MB)
    (Required for Windows XP only; not required for Windows 7)
    Download and install vcredist_x86.exe (Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86))
