General News

  • Nokia new strategy reflections to MeeGo is not yet clear
  • Nokia MeeGo leadership team will decide (hopefully soon) what will be the Nokia contribution to MeeGo
  • Until the upcoming decision all tasks are continuing normally - also Toolchain Project
  • Juha Kallioinen has been nominated to lead the MeeGo Toolchain Project. Jarmo was only the temporary solution to lead the project in its start. Juha's nomination has been approved in MeeGo SDK Weekly meeting on Feb-16.

  • No big issues for 1.2. IA was just in lowlight maintain stage
  • We will have one new employee (lady) on board at the end of Feb and will delicately work toolchain related working.
