Intel

  • binutils upgrade for MeeGo 1.2 SDK is needed because of the Fedora 14 build problems.
    • Austin's team will try to figure out the necessary minimal patch for binutils to fix a bug in Fedora 14 builds.

ARM

Decisions

  • Enable armv8el for devel:toolchain too

Action points

AP: Al - create a diff between binutils 2.20.51.0.2 -> 2.20.51.0.7 for evaluation DONE. (diff is over 10 MB) AP: Juha - set up a draft wiki page for toolchain performance results, discuss if the format could be useful
