* According to [http://meego.com/about/governance governance], the TSG are responsible for "project level decisions and overall leadership" (perhaps stretching the meaning of 'Technical' ;-)) and so it's obviously in their power to create the CSG/CWG. 1) Until we know who they are, how do we engage in a dialogue with them? 2) How will they select who is on the working group? Not everyone who's volunteering will "fit" and there's a key element to working with the existing representatives of the Moblin & Maemo communities (moblin.org and Maemo Community Council). The existing volunteers are obviously key stakeholders, and obvious members of [http://lists.meego.com/pipermail/meego-dev/2010-February/000022.html the community mailing list] if/when it is created. * I have already heard from Imad Sousou of the TSG and was encouraged by his reception to the general desire for a diverse community.  He said the steering group will be meeting within the next couple of weeks and I expect that volunteers from the list will be brought in for strategy discussions. So far that list is small and I'm optimistic there will be areas for all to contribute, especially given the broad array of skills and experience represented. --[[User:texrat|Randall Arnold]] 06:03, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

* I understand the need for an umbrella working group here... but it will also need to have under it various task teams (community outreach, bugzilla, website experience, etc). Are we going to use tomorrow's meeting to develop those? --[[User:texrat|Randall Arnold]] 19:30, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
