Regarding meego-mirrors - can't help but wonder if meego-it or meego-infra would be more suitable. It seems rather much to have a list just for mirror communication --Stskeeps 13:33, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

• This was a request from John - kernel.org sys admin. We have several people who mirror meego downloads who just need to know when we're planning a release or changing something that impacts mirrors. They can also help us with any mirroring issues, but they wouldn't be involved in any other IT. It would be something like this.   • Then maybe we also need a meego-infra, for the exact reasons Stskeeps suggests, and to avoid the "is build.meego.com down", and similar, threads off the other lists. +1 from me at least --Sabotage 00:26, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Regarding IRC channels, I'd like to request the official sanctioning of the (already existing and used, albeit "bootleg") #meego-handset channel on f.n. We've been using it for a few weeks now, and Stskeeps has offered to start logging it for us. Frankly, the volume in #meego-dev prevents tracking of topic specific discussions, same reasons we're now spliting the ML's. --Sabotage 00:40, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Please consider setting a high priority on the forum-email bridge which has been requested. We should fix the forum/mailing list rift as soon as possible, certainly before a MeeGo handset is on the market, if possible. --Dneary 08:35, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

• Absolutely - this is already a high priority, but as we've mentioned before, we can't do this until we get all of the infrastructure moved to OSU OSL. We're in the process of moving things now. --Dawnfoster 15:06, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
