Still looking for more detail on the DIN 1451 font than is currently provided.  If the one currently used by MeeGo is not free and licensed under Creative Commons, I suggest changing to one that is: Alte DIN 1451 --Texrat 15:35, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

Can there be a line added to specify that this guide applies only to printed materials rather than say a web banner to save idiots like me from confusion.

The current San Francisco conference logo has been really well done, but clearly contravenes the exclusion zone policy. Can there also be a bit more clarity about when this zone applies. --Mrsellout 23:31, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

Is it possibly to obtain the Meegons sets from the Russian conference <s>and oncoming San-Francisco's one</s>? Xpilot 19:57, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

"Characters can be used, reproduced, and modified freely in marketing communications. When using the MeeGo characters or any modification of them, proper attribution is required under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution license. Like so: "Characters from the MeeGo Project - http://meego.com". "

Some members have asked for customized characters for their MeeGo forum avatars. I'm willing to create some, but how would I attribute them based on the requirement above? That's not going to work in typical cases. Could we apply a blanket statement to the forum?

Update: Quim Gil said to just proceed with custom forum avatars. New thread created for the purpose.

In general, I believe the logo exclusion zone is way too constraining. I would like to see the "no print" zone cut in half at least, and/or additional context added to allow flexibility.

Note that the MeeGo Conference 2010 badge logo design violates the spec! --Texrat 22:21, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Can there be a line added to specify that this guide applies only to printed materials rather than say a web banner to save idiots like me from confusion.

The current San Francisco conference logo [1] has been really well done, but clearly contravenes the exclusion zone policy. Can there also be a bit more clarity about when this zone applies. --Mrsellout 23:31, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
