Some of the content on this page duplicates the content on Hello World - MeeGo x86 development on Linux.

It would be nice to remove this duplication, but the problem is that the manual Simulator build needs you install packages from within the chroot; while the tarball has the required packages installed already. Finding a way to separate out the chroot explanation has proved difficult as a result.

I've been trying to think of an approach which removes the redundancy, but have not come up with anything reasonable yet. I'll keep trying.

The page uses sdk.download.location in some URLs.
