Wesley Chong

I'm currently a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at University Science of Malaysia. I'm a part time programmer for websites, web application and applications for Fremantle (aka Maemo 5) and Harmattan. This is the website i use to blog my development progress as well as my finding in a number of linux distribution (Mageia, Fedora and etc)

Programming

I have around 7 years of programming experience for client side web programming language like HTML and CSS and around 5 years of experience for PHP, MySQL, C++. I started learning and using Qt and QML a few months ago and practising it by creating application for Maemo and Meego.

Projects

1. JanKenPon - a rock-scissors-paper game for Maemo 5 and also Harmattan (Qt/Qml)
2. DNC - Distrowatch News Client which is a distrowatch news reader for Harmattan (Qt/Qml)
3. Qonsumer - an application to calculate the unit price of products for Maemo 5 (temporary, Harmattan porting is in progress) (Qt/Qml)
4. Lightsout porting to Harmattan - porting of Lightsout, an addictive puzzle game from N900 to Harmattan

Planning Stage

1. Clone doodle jump for Harmattan
2. Remember the milk client for Harmattan
3. Car Home for Harmattan
