Everybody likes the principle of news written by the community. It seems that everybody actually likes the http://maemo.org/news system, combining over hundred sources that get promoted or demoted based on user input (thumbs up & down) and karma from several sources e.g. del.icio.us, technorati... Everybody likes the principle of news written by the community. But it will take us a while to implement something like that in meego.com. In the meantime we can start aggregating blogs and other MeeGo specific news sources.
Drupal includes an Aggregation module out of the box: http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/aggregator There is an official module that resembles a PlanetPlanet, but do we really need the extra maintenance for that? http://drupal.org/project/udplanet
